Sunson® WEM-008



 Sunson® WEM-008 is produced from finely selected microbial strain of Aspergillus niger by submerged fermentation, purification and formulation. This product is manufactured in accordance with the standards of FDA, WHO and UECFA.


The product contains various pectin degrading enzymes that work cooperatively to decompose pectin in grape juice, such as polygalactronase, pectin esterase, pectin lyase, cellulase and  hemicellulase. The product is very effective in clarification of grape juice, reducing the viscosity of grape juice, easing downstream processing and improving product stability.


Main Components: Pectinase, Cellulase, Hemi-cellulase, β- Glucanase, Amylase and Protease.

Declared Activity: 5,000,000 u/ml         

Physical form: brown liquid

1. Fast and complete degradation of pectin  substances in grape juice to increase juice clarity.
2. Efficient reduction of grape juice  viscosity to ease juice concentration up to of 70 BX or even higher.
3. Higher flux rate during ultra-filtration, and less need for membrane cleaning during processing.
4. Prevention of formation of haze and precipitation in juice during storage.

The recommended dosage is 0.01~0.03L/ton juice; Considering the differences in grape variety and maturity, the dosage has to be optimized according to the actual local conditions. For fruits which are mature or have been stored for a long time, higher dosage is recommended.

Remarks: The product has a working temperature range of 20~60℃ and pH range of 3.0~5.5. The optimal temperature is  40~50℃ and optimal pH 3.0~4.0.

Storage:  stored in a cool, dark and dry place at 1~10℃, with no sunlight. 
Shelf life: 
18 months under the above storage condition.

Enzyme preparations are proteins that may induce sensitization and cause allergic type of symptoms in susceptible individuals. Prolonged contact may cause minor irritation for skin, eyes or nasal mucosa. Any direct contact with human body should be avoided. If irritation or allergic response for skin or eyes develops, please consult a doctor.

Keep sealed after use every time to avoid microbial infections and inactivation of enzymes until its finish.
