PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The product is a plant protease preparation extracted and purified from the skin, flesh, or/and stem of the pineapple. It catalyzes the hydrolysis of protein into low molecular peptides and amino acids, which can be used in food industry, health product, pharmaceutical and cosmetic industry.

 

MECHANISM

Bromelain is a thiol proteinase, i.e. it contains in the active center highly reactive cysteine groups that is essential for its function. This enzyme hydrolyzes high molecular proteins into easily absorbable small peptides and amino acids.

 

APPLICATIONS

Food Industry

Baking: It can be added into dough to modify gluten network and soften the dough, and thus improves sensory properties of biscuits and bread
Cheese: as the coagulant during cheese processing;
Meat: tenderizer for meat;
Increase the PDI and NSI values of soybean cake and soybean meal.

Pharmaceuticals and Health Care Industry

Tumor cell inhibitor;
Cardiovascular disease treatment;
Burn treatment;
Stabilizer for pharmaceutical products and promoter for pharmaceutical absorption.

Beauty and Cosmetics Industry

Skin care: maintain the elasticity of skin, remove dead skin or skin dark spots, and help recover sun-burnt skin.

Feed Industry

Either as an additive or dietary supplement for feed to greatly improve feed digestibility.

Light yellow powder. Color may vary from batch to batch, but the color change is not an indication of enzyme activity.

 

PRODUCT STANDARD

The product complies with GB1886.174.

 

APPLICATION RECOMMENDATION

The recommended dosage is 0.01-0.5kg/t DS. The dosage has to be optimized based on each application, the raw material specifications, product expectation and processing parameters. It is better to begin the test with the convenient volume.

Enzyme preparations are proteins that may induce sensitization and cause allergic type of symptoms in susceptible individuals. Prolonged contact may cause minor irritation for skin, eyes or nasal mucosa. Any direct contact with human body should be avoided. If irritation or allergic response for skin or eyes develops, please consult a doctor.

 

WARNINGS

Keep sealed after use every time to avoid moisture adsorption, microbial infections and inactivation of enzymes until its finish.
