Food grade xylanase powder for baking brewing starch and feed
Xylanase (XYS) is produced by submerged fermentation of Trichoderma reesei followed by purification and formulation. This product has high hydrolytic activity within a wide temperature (30℃-80℃) and slight acidic pH range (pH 4.0-6.0).
The Xylanase is an enzyme complex degrading xylan into Xylo-oligosaccharide and xylose. The product contains β-1,4-xylanase and β-xylosidase most but also some β-1,4-xylanase, β-xylosidase, α-D-glucuronidase, α-L-furan arabinosidase, acetyl xylanase and feruloyl esterase, which ensures complete degradation of natural xylan in plant materials.
- Feed: This product helps with the release of nutrients from feedstuff by efficiently hydrolyzing xylans and promote absorption by reducing viscosity of feed in animal’s digestive tracts, and thus improve the biological value of the feed.
- Baking: Either added into flour to produce specialty flour for bread or steamed bun, mixed with other ingredients to make improver, or added during baking to improve dough handling properties, volume , and crumb structure.
- Brewing: Added in mashing to reduce wort viscosity and ease filtration.
- Starch: Helps the separation of starch from grains to have higher yield and smooth operation.
Light brown to light yellow powder. Color may vary from batch to batch. Color intensity is not an indication of enzyme activity.

The recommended dosage is 0.01-0.5kg/t DS. The dosage has to be optimized based on each application, the raw material specifications, product expectation and processing parameters. It is better to begin the test with convenient volume.
Enzyme preparations are proteins that may induce sensitization and cause allergic type of symptoms in susceptible individuals. Prolonged contact may cause minor irritation for skin, eyes or nasal mucosa. Any direct contact with human body should be avoided. If irritation or allergic response for skin or eyes develops, please consult a doctor.
Ø Storage: Keep sealed in a dry and cool place and avoid direct sunlight.
